What is Bible Quiz (BQ)?
Bible Quiz is a first-class, organized and detailed youth Discipleship Ministry. Each year, over 2,000 youth nationwide go deeper into God's Word through an exciting 3-step process - Learn. Live. Lead. These youth are becoming more passionate about God, giving more to missions and impacting their schools. Families of youth are drawing closer together as they focus on God's Word in this FUN and REWARDING discipleship journey. Why should I get involved in BQ Discipleship?
Bible Quiz offers you a chance to travel all over the country! You get to stay in hotels, meet new friends, have fun, and build long-lasting relationships. While quizzing, you will learn how to work as a team as you compete against some of the top young people in the nation. And most importantly, you will learn God's Word and develop a deeper relationship with Him. Thirty minutes per day is all that's required to get started. Try it for 3 weeks! You'll be surprised at what you can accomplish!
What is quizzing competition?
Quizzers compete in quiz matches each week during practice and at scheduled events. A quiz match consists of 20 questions with values of 10, 20, or 30 points each. In a quiz match, two teams of up to 3 quizzers each sit at the quizzing table. Using an electronic quiz box system, each quizzer has their own quiz pad so they can "beat others to the buzzer" and earn the right to answer the question. The team with the highest points wins the match and the individual scores are recognized as well.
